Bottle, Beer Central, Sheffield. Soft haze on a bright gold. Sturdy white head. Looks well. Nose has clean wheat. Lemon rind. Some flora. Subtle Belgian yeasty notes. Taste is dry and a little bitter. Fresh and cleansing on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Somewhat short, dry finish. Nice saison.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Looks like mango juice. No head. Smells like mango and lime juice. And then there’s a fairly rough, earthy, herbal, rotten vegetable thing going on. Smells like on the turn peppers. Taste is dry and a bit sour. Nah. Hard work. Can’t be bothered.

Can. With a horribly rubbery label that squeaks when you touch it. Beer Central, Sheffield. Sits a muddy, copper red. Fine ring of off white head. Nose is pretty muted and comes across a bit marmalade. Taste is muted too. It’s like sugary, bitter water. Oh I can’t be arsed. I need to pack this ticking in, and just stick to Kernel, SMOD, and one or two others.
