Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, some brown sugar, subtle touch of chili pepper and a hint of roast. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Good bittersweet Bock with a subtle touch of chili pepper.

Tap at UBF’16, Utrecht: Hazy blonde colored brew with an faintly sweet bitter taste, some sweety hints. At this beerfestival was een brewer with an almost similar name "Heuvelrug" and similar beernames.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een donker amberkleurig bier met een medium beige schuimkraag. Het aroma is moutig, gebrand en kruidig. De smaak is gebrande mout, koffie, caramel en toffee.

Fles gekregen van KimEnSander, geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige wat zoete geur. De smaak is dropachtig, salmiak en peper.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een licht troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat grassige geur. De smaak is moutig, zoetig en wat bloemig.

Hazy medium golden clour, fair frothy white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma wheat, light lemon, coriander. Flavour medium sweet and bitter, grainy, coriander, dry herbal finish. Nothing special.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and vanilla in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, licorice, vanilla. Did I taste some oak? Not sure. Slightly alcoholic. Decent.
