Tap @ Kafe Belgie, medium sample. Dark brown color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, some coffee and licorice, fruity yeast notes, slight grainy oats. Quite dry in taste, much bitterness from the roasted malts, slight hint of sweetness. Finish is quite dry and makes it more of a dry stout on steroids. Ok beer, but in the end it gets tougher to finish the glass.

Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Black colour, beige medium head. Nose is light roasted malts, chocolate, a bit fruity. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, slightly sour, bit of liquorice. Medium carbonation. A bit light bodied for an oatmeal stout in this abv range. Light bitter, light roasty finish.

Bottle @ ansjelaah NYE13. Hazy orange colour with a rather large, soapy white head. Smells soapy, floral. Tastes soapy, floral, grassy, hops. Medium body, lots and lots of carbo.

Bottled, BB Dec 2014, large sample. Cloudy golden color, huge rocky head. Aroma is spicy and grassy, hint of pepper, hint of citrus, wheat. Bit bitter in taste. Very high carbonation, I dont think that was intended. Leaves the finish quite dry and a bit astringent. Ok beer.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, herbal, citrusy. Bitter, citrusy, crisp hoppy and peachy. Smooth fruity and peachy finish.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malty with a little citrus fruit. The flavour is weak bitter/ sour. How odd. There is lots of grapefruit citrus and yeast on the surprisingly watery palate. Quite an unusual beer and worth a taste.

Bottle @ home. Opaque, very hazy light orange color, huge white head. Smell wheat, citrus, yeast. Taste wheat, citrus, orangepeel, lightly yeasty, decently bitter. Average body, very much overcarbonated which takes a lot away from the flavor.

Hazy golden colour, white head. Bit skunky aroma, yeast, sweets, lime, toilet refreshener, some fruits. Bitter flavour, hops, light sweet malts. Bit thin. Dry bitter finish, apricot and hops. Don’t quite like the nose. Lovely label though. A hopped wheat ale, I love those and was hoping it to be a great beer. Alas, the beer isn’t trying hard to achieve greatness. Not that it’s bad, just a bit meh.

oranje, ondoorzichtig met MEGA schuimige witte kraag aroma: Héérlijk fris hop aroma, grapefruit, citrus, stro smaken: medium zoet, redelijk bitter, floraal medium body, ietwat romig, normale co2, redelijk hoppig, echter in de afdronk valt het wel wat mee, had iets meer body mogen hebben. afdronk wat bitter/droog
