Bottle 330ml. [ As Ceaux Harvest 2014 ].Light unclear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully to mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty, rye, moderate yeasty, light anis seed. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, rye, dusty, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is fizzy. [20150923]

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, medium sample. Hazy amber color, medium frothy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, caramel, bit metallic like a belgian ale. Taste is quite sweet, spicy, metallic. Tastes like your average belgian amber or dubbel. No chocolate anywhere to be found. Disappointing.

Bottle shared by Caesar. Hazy reddish color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is sweet, sweet caramel. Taste lightly malts, caramel, sweet, lightly yeast. Uhm, chocolate? Not a trace.

Pleasant warm, smokey aroma. Initially some fruity hops come through. Then the smokiness comes through before the heat gradually builds up. Complex and interesting and a good match for many a meal.

Draft at De Zaak. Pours cloudy orange brown with a small off white head. Aroma of light fruits, weedy, light herbal and malty aspects. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Kafé België. Muddy brown colour, off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, cocoa, some fruity notes, light malty. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, cocoa, dark fruits, alcohol, bitter finish. Light bodied, firm carbonation. Not very good imho.
