On tap at Erzbierschof Zürich. Aroma of mostly malts, some peach. Mostly bitter in taste, not strong, but filling the whole mouth. Very nice!

100 ml sample. A maltier, sweeter kind of impy - malty, fruity, boozy, good hoppy bitterness. Not that roasty or chocolaty.

650ml bottle. Hazy reddish amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Spicy rye aroma with citrusy and slightly floral hoppy counterpart, notes of lemon, grapefruit and orange. Taste has some rye spiciness intertwixt with hop bitterness, fruity notes of orange, lemon and grapefruit. Nice, complementary composition.

Canadian APA with extremely thick and rocky, frothy, snow white head, leaving thick foamy lacing around the edges of the glass; hazy ’old gold’ colour with dark yeast particles suspended in it. Fruity, spicy and hoppy aroma of dried grapefruit peel, acacia honey, lemon blossom, dry cookies, raspberry, minerals, white bread, paper, melon, apple cake, chamomille, freshly cut weeds. Crisp flavour, restrainedly fruity, dried apricot, sour berry accent, medium carbonation, bit minerally, bready malts underlying, umami accent of green olives somewhere in the middle, long earthy, spicy, resiny bitter hop finish, quenching and satisfying. Well-made and balanced APA, a good introduction to the style, I would argue.

So, this is my first tik for cam’s. From a bottle its a big bitter rotting green grapefruit rind impact, wew. Big and bitter, weighs heavily on a double ipa feeling. Boozy alky laced mouth coating brew. Same with the aroma, just a big boozy hopped beer, wew, did I say wew?

650ml bottle. Clear, darkest brown colour with dark ruby red glimmer and small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Dark malty, fruity aroma, hints of oak and vanilla, notes of dark berries, a touch of leather and treacle. Taste is dark malty with notes of toffee, dark berries, hints of leather, oak, vanilla, some honey sweetness, a touch of blue grapes, some cinnamon; hoppy bitterness combines with the carbonation and leads to a finish with prickling mouthfeel. Rich and variegated, skillful handling of the oak aging process.

This Brown ale poured a deep Amber colour with a nice, creamy, tan coloured head. Scents include caramel, molasses, a little cocoa and oats. First swig was smooth a light/medium mouthfeel. Flavours of caramel and light coffee. Finish is burnt with coffee flavours lingering...
