Pale yellow pour. Crisp slightly hoppy malt taste. Beer is better than overproduced macros, but not all that great. Rated 3/25/04

Bottled. An amber beer, first third being clear, second being cloudy, and last being muddy with an off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of wood, brettanomyces, lacto, alcohol, wine, over ripe fruits and berries. The flavor has notes of is a twist of sweet and acidic with strong notes of wood, brettanomyces, lacto, over ripe fruits, malt, and forest berries, leading to a dry tart finish. The flavor is not as pronounced as the aroma.
