Bouteille 33cl, BB 10/11/2018. Dorée, col blanc crémeux. Arôme au nez bien houblonné, retrouve un effet rappelant clairement les houblons C, pin, résineux avec un bon fleuri, petite touche fruité en rétro - pêche. Palais est assez houblonné et s’éloigne clairement de ces sempiternelles ipa belges couvertes par des levures belges trop dominantes, cependant, on reste clairement sur du belge. Houblonné avec belles notes fruitées tropicales, gazon , résineux. Finement épicé sur la fin rappelant le girofle, le tout reste assez sec voire un peu de trop. Retrouve encore une petite percée fleuri en fin de bouche.

330 ml bottle from Beergium, bottled 16/07/16.
Amber, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white off-head.
Aroma of bread, dough, flowers, citrus, lemongrass, spices, some dried fruits, subtle sour fruits.
Tastes similar, with some more pine and although quite bitter, with more sweet notes.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with ana verage carbonation.
Finishes bitter, medium dry, hoppy, very piney, floral, a bit bready, a bit yeasty, subtly sweet.
Very nice. Although my bottle is pretty old, still very hoppy, supported by a solid bready and yeasty body. Lovely pine spiciness towards the finish. Pretty diverse stuff, that reminds me a bit of De la Senne ales.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy blond colour, creamy white foam. Nose of tropical fruit, pineapple. Bitter and grassy beer. Dry, lemon peel. Very refreshing. Nice combo of Imperial IPA / tripel/ strong ale.

hazy golden to orange colour, large, dense, slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma of orange zest oils, overripe peach, some tangerine, minimal tropical fruity and yeast notes; taste has the same notes with significant hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness and slight peppery notes; great Belgian ale!

0,33l bottle at home from Beergium. Bottled 16.07.2016. BB 16.07.2018. orange clear color, medium big white head. smells spices, bit yeasty, herbal, lemon grass, peppery, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, tobacco, light cardboard, peppery, spices, grassy, citrus, lemon grass. finishes medium bitter with notes of lemon grass, citrus and peppery notes. quite decent but also a bit harsh, not my favourite belgian ale, too dominating bitterness, lacks some balance. overall still drinkable though.

Bottle, 330 ml at Fin de Siecle, Bruxelles.Pours hazy deep golden to brownish with medium lasting dense off-white head. Caramel, malty, yeasty, fruit, citrus, light hops, caramel. Sweetish, some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours rather clear blonde, small white head. Smell is bit hoppy, some malts. Bit ’strong’ though I won’t say boozy, really. Taste is full, bit bitter, oranges, bit pine ( more hidden behind the oranges ) malty. Belgian yeast ruins the fine IIPA characters to me, than again, this is simply the choice of the brewer, and if he intended this, congrats to him. It’s a good beer, I like it, but I will Always pick a less (Belgian) yeasty version over this. Rather high carbo, but a decent MF

at a tasting, thanjs, smallish head, hazy dark orange color, flavor of peach, caramel and a hint of stinky yeast, graint caramel flavor with a metal hint, herbal bitterness. Fair, but not too exciting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Hazy amber. Malt, caramel, a bit of yeast, a bit of fruitiness, some hops. Sweetish, bitterish finish.
