Hazy red/brown colour, thin layer of foam. Nose of dried fruit, caramel, woody, harsh bitterness, some green apples and varnish. Unbalanced.

Good cream-tan head, stable, over very dark brown beer. Coffee, quite intense, liquorice, roast, roasted grains. Sweet roast, bit meaty, metallic-coffee, but the coffee is not that intense orally. Finish is a bit surprisingly watery, and the flavours fall away. Good carbonation. Pity about the finish, acceptable. Txs to Stef!

Very good, stable cream-amberish head over hazy amber-brown beer. Sweet, almonds, oxydized hops, cookie malts, even liquorice; gravy, mushrooms, resin. Drier taste than the nose, but still lots of maltsugars, liquorice, sugared resin. Sticky from the resin, well bodied, viscous. Good carbonation and long lasting flavours. Again that would be better with just a bit less malt(syrup), small dose of bittering hops would be OK. Txs to Stef!

Bottle@Pressbyrån, Stockholm. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some toffee and a bunch of spicy tones. Flavour is fruity, some floral, mild spicy and caramelly tones. Some funk to it as well.

mostly flowery hoppy aroma, belgian yeasty base to that aroma, quite typical belgian ipa - I wonder why they often has this characteristic aroma. Flavor is quite bitter , not so much US hoppy bitter, more just bitter but with some body to the bitterness so def. hoppy bitter, not herbal bitter or brewing-error bitter. comes off as a bit messy, it's almost like a tripel just with a very different hopping. pretty weird. Tastes okay though.

Pours relatively clear , medium dark blonde. Medium large white head quickly fades. Scent is relatively mild. A touch of saison-style phenols, but not as loud as expected. Taste is surprisingly accurate - saison very recognizable, dry and bitter, with the kveik spicyness in the back. Mild salty touch, perhaps better recognizable when known it's an ingredient, but surely not hidden either. Fun little experiment, that's original. Surprisingly 'average', but that speaks positively about the balance and drinkability. De Ranke style hoppy notes (do they still brew there, or is this a result of their past / Coincidence ? ) Easy drinker. Medium high carbo - as fits the style. Not bad at all !

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white foamy longlasting head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some yeasty spiciness, mild tropical fruits and some herbal tones. Flavour is dried fruits, some tropical fruits, mild spiciness, some alcohol sweetness with mild herbs and grass too. Fermented rather dry. Interesting, and actually rather nice.

Bottled. Deep reddish amber colour with a mediumsized beige head, which leaves some lace. Probably one of the darkest DIPA's I've seen. Floral, fruity, some mild toffee and toasted tones. Flavour caramel, mild toasted tones with some yeasty and mild tropical fruits to it. Surprisingly mild bitterness, but still drinkable.
