Bottle. Pours unclear brown. Aroma is toasted malts, some chestnut. Body is medium, chestnut again, but fading off quickly into water and murky stuff. Lively carbonation. Not bad.

From old notes. Bottle @ home. Clear orange color. Small head. Aroma's: sweetish, herbal, malt/grain. Flavor is mostly neutral but there is something nutty. Medium bodied. Finishes aslightly dry, moderate bitter. Nice enough but I didn't get much of the chestnuts.

Bottle. Clear amber color with white head. Aroma is malty, a bit chestnuts indeed, caramel malts, a touch nutty. Taste is caramel malts, a bit of chestnuts indeed, slightly metallic finish. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Okay!

0.33 bottle from Corsica. Filtered Amber color, malty nose. Flavor is caramel malty, not a notable hop aroma but it's got some bitterness to balance the sugars. Better than expected for a higher volume beer.

33cl bottle bought in Corsica. Bottle fermented (?) based on the yeast cloudiness and sediment. Nice fine head, lasts ok. Medium Amber, tropical citrus aroma. Nicely balanced, flavors of blood orange and tropical fruits with enough maltiness to back up the 40 IBUs. In Cali it would be billed as pale ale and not IPA. One of the best Corsican beers I've tasted.

Bottle in Corsica, 750ml. Medium Amber color, tall decently lasting head. Spicy, sweet, Belgian aroma. Taste is on the sweeter side and very malty. Not very bitter / hop aromatic, as the sugars dominate; but it's not a hop forward style. Surprising to have a beer with this much body but only 6%, quite interesting. Definitely worth a try.

0,33 l bottle. Pours crystal clear ocre amber with small lasting just off white head. Aroma of malt, plenty of caramel, some toffee and chestnut like aroma. I like chestnuts and this aroma is similar, more mature and kind of damped chestnut aroma. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and some mild bitterness. Body is medium, texture slick and carbonation average. Finish is quite long, caramel, chestnut like and mildly bitter. Interesting, but nothing special.
