Cloudy amber. Nice fruity hop aroma - pineapple, guava, pear. Bitter, rooty body with refreshing fruitiness. Nice balance. Good malt background that stays in the background.

Cloudy yellow. Light head. Holy shit aroma there’s some pedio in here. A little spice comes in underneath of that. Light, slightly watery body. Light spiciness on the palate and still some more pedio. Not my idea of a good time.

Looks great. Hazy light amber with a thick head. It looks like an APA but who’s keeping score? Fruity, slighlty herbal hop with alchol and a good dose of malt. The aroma is less hoppy than it was at Brewtopia. Rich and chewy with lots of bitterness. Balanced. A little light for the style. Smooth body and a firm finishing kick.

Hazy, vibrant red-amber colour with a nice, thick head. Huge nutmeg and clove aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, somewhat astringent spice but sweet malts and caramel lend balance. A "Belgian" pumpkin, and an interesting way to wind down pumpkin beer season.

Poured up on tap at the West Palm Beach brewpub deep gold with thin off white head. I get almost nothing out of the aroma. Really nothing. The taste starts with muted thick sweet malts followed by grassy vegetable earthy hops and slightly harsh alcohol esters. This beer was having its moments but overall comes up short.

Poured up on tap at the Boca brewpub clear pale gold with persistent thin white head of foam. The mild aroma has vague malty notes along with some faint noble hops. The taste has a pleasing mix of lemon acidity, grainy malts that move toward a bit of light colored fruity esters. Very nice crisp flavor to start aided by tart citrus hops and some noble spicy hops.

Poured up on tap at the West Palm Beach brewpub in a fresh from a deep freeze frozen tumbler glass. Come on man!! Act like you know beer. After a while a non-frozen tundra tumbler was offered up where I transferred the Alt contents over myself. This place sure doesn’t appear to be a beer first type brewpub. It poured the second time clear deep copper with thin off white to tan head. The faint aroma brings up notes of sweetness from both malts and dark fruity esters and not a whole lot else. The taste, still a bit too cold, has notes of muted mild fruity esters mixing into caramel, nuttiness and faint chocolate malts. Roasted malts and nuttiness take this beer to the finish.

Poured up on tap at the Boca brewpub a very impressive clear amber with micro thin tan head. The very very light aroma hints at malts and sweetness and really nothing else. The taste is bold with caramel and roastiness mixing with some dark fruity esters. By midway it dries out with malt roastiness and pretty much stays that way into the finish. It seems to come across more as a brown ale than a bock.

Poured up on tap at the Boca brewpub clear amber with wafer thin off white head. The aroma comes across as somewhat bready first with some malt roastiness and faint hops to follow up. The taste is roasty to nutty malts up front with a bit of bread to follow. And behind those notes are malt sweetness and some pine hops. It ends with tasty roasted malts bringing it to the dryer side for the finish.

The blueberry version poured up on tap at the Boca brewpub clear gold with thin white head and a blueberry sunk into the mix. The aroma is almost all blueberry with faint “beer” smell well off in the distance. The taste seems to be Boca Blonde beer flavors first followed by, what taste like, real fruit blueberry additions. I love how they manage to NOT kill the beer flavor with too much fruit like so many others. Nice stuff. It ends with mild noble hops and tasty lightly roasted malts.

Poured up on tap at the Boca brewpub gold with micro thin white head. The aroma is light colored malts, mild graininess and some floral hops. The taste is a mouth full of mildly roasty malts then more malt sweetness before hints of floral hops surface. It ends with a bit of roasty malts and grain.
