Description
Brasserie de Silly NV is still family-owned and is now in the hands of the sixth generation of the same family. The company is managed by cousins, Lionel and Bertrand Van der Haegen. Bertrand is responsible for production and Lionel looks after sales. Their parents, brothers Jean-Paul and Didier Van der Haegen are still active Board members. Brasserie de Silly has seen steady growth thanks to export sales and its quality image. Production in 2008 was 1,000,000 litres, but in 2018, 2,500,000 litres are expected to flow out of the tanks. Sales are on the up and up. Belgian beers produced in a traditional way are increasingly popular around the globe.

clear brown colour with some mahogany hue; one inch of creamy beige-ish head; aroma of vanilla, honeycomb toffee, toffee, apple peel, dried sour cherry raisins soaked into cognac and some slight dark chocolate; taste is similar to the aroma; really good one

Nagy, tömör, örökké tartó hab, félbarnába hajló szín. Enyhe, fűszeres, kissé szőlős illat. Enyhén édeskés, fűszeres, komlós, kissé borsos, némileg kenyeres ízek. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén kesernyés. Édesebb mint általában a tripelek. Könnyen iható, kellemes sör.

Dark blond colour with fluffy head. Has quite a lot of spicy clove notes for the style. Quite floral and fruity but far closer to a typical Belgian Blond with its associated yeast.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy golden, small head. Intense spicy floral nose. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Floral hops, some bread. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Amber color, slightly misty, creamy foam. Aroma: halva and seeds, bready, caramel, jam, sweetish, candied fruits. Sweetish taste, caramel, candied fruits, bready, spices, bitter finish, slightly off balance.
