MAL trip: day 5/12 - The Brewhouse in Taiping, Perak, a draught pint. Aroma: coffee and dark chocolate. Appearance: opaque cola, one finger tan head, noticeably creamy and inviting. Palate: light-bodied and creamy, softish carbonation; finish is fleeting and roasty. Not over-chilled, which is a credit to the bar in this climate. Taste: lightly sweet with plenty of malt loaf, a bit of coffee but chocolate doesn’t really come through. Pleasantly refreshing on the day, but ultimately rather watery.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren, thanks! Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, sharp alcohol and light caramel in the nose. Caramel, brown sugar, leather, some alcohol and mild roasty finish. Quite a mess and not so easy to drink.
