Beers of the World country 118: Malaysia 🇲🇾
"The beer is dark brown/black in colour with a thick brown foam head. It tastes of coffee and has a pleasant roastiness to it. Finishes on a chocolate sweet note with a long lasting aftertaste. A very nice surprise as I wasn’t expecting too much! If you’re ever in Malaysia this is a nice local choice." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Lacing sticks to the glass forever. Mild and light tasting for a stout, good flavor. Not nearly as much coffee flavor as typical stouts.

(Can) Pours clear pale golden with thin short-lived white head. Subtle aroma - biscuit and vegetable. Light bodied with good carbonation. After a very short lightly tart foretaste there some rather aggressive and not very pleasant bitterness along with some alcohol, over some toffee sweetness. Drinkable, but rather unpleasant.

(Can) Pours clear golden with transient head. Unpleasant aroma - musky and musty. Light bodied and fizzy. Weird taste, Herb or vegetable notes (lemongrass, cardamon, ginseng). No hint of beer or malt, but some sugar, although not too sweet. Fairly refreshing. Drinkable as a soft drink, but even then not good.

(Can) Pours clear golden yellow with loose short-lived white head. Very faint aroma - light malt, cardboard, candy. Light bodied and fizzy. Taste is thin and watery. Foretaste has some nondescript sweetness and tartness. Finish has harsh unpleasant bitterness. Pretty unpleasant, but not undrinkable.
