--Canned, in Kuala Lumpur. -- Clear golden, rich firm head. Aroma of corn, butter and vegetables. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Somewhat cidery with plenty of Carlsbergy vegetable soup and sugar. Some decomposing leafs. Low bitterness. Well, meets my expectations. Unfortunately.

500ml can from the Gecko Minimarket, Langkawi Island. Poured a clear, almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy, light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, light smoke, ashtray, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. The best beer brewed in Malaysia to date!

Decent…

320mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a pleasant roasted barley character, with a hint of coffee and chocolate. Flavour is fairly full-bodied, with medium roasted malt, some earthiness, a hint of chocolate, and a very slight metallic character. Nice roastiness, with low residual sweetness on the finish. Mediocre, but inoffensive.
