375ml can from Homebrewstuff. Black pour, fizzy head. Toasty, sweet, boozy aroma. Taste is sweet, bitter, anise, dry. How this can feel so boozy at 8% is a mystery. Earthy.

Cask, at benny's, medium long lasting creamy head, clear quite dark yellow colour, a bit of citrus, mineral, rubber and vanila, all a bit stinky, medium strong and a bit rough shrubby bitterness. Quite drinkable but lager is not made for cask.

Cask, at benny's, small stable bubbly head, clear pale copper colour, aroma of citrus and herbs with just a hint of breadiness. Fruity malty sweetness and a light to medium herbal bitterness. Nice, pleasant and highly drinkable.

Cask at Red Deer, Sheffield. Pours clear golden with a white cap. Malt, caramel, smidge of honey, citrus hop. Light sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Well kept if a little mundane.

Pours a clear golden colour with a small frothy near white head. The aroma is malty, some bready and citrus hop notes. A moderately sweet taste, toasted and bready malts, and citrus flavours with a moderate hop bitterness.

Bottle. Xmas gift off of Hydes. Part of a boxed 3 pack. Dark brown. What head there is, is lasting and semi lacing. Some decent legs too. Nose has soy sauce. Yeah, mostly gravy. Taste has some sweetness. A little bit bitter. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Light dry and bitter finish. Nope. Just gravy nonsense.
