Grabbed this because I'm getting HYPED for my train trip across the southwest. Nope, its Australian. Still tasty! Darwin also thrilled.

17/10/2022. Draught schooner at Yarra Botanica, Melbourne. Pours slightly hazy pale orange gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is tropical, orange, citrus, touch of pine. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a light tart edge. Moderate body, average carbonation. Enjoyed it, especially in such a great location!

Can. Hazy pale orange with a white head that lasts ok. More than a splash of pineapple juice in the aroma with some mandarin, grapefruit and wheaty crackers too. Citrus is more punchy than expected in the taste with tropical fruit and moderate bitterness. Dryish overall which always suits me in this sort of thing. Refreshing.

Two Birds Taco Cerveza 5.2% Ale with fresh coriander, lime & corn Orange gold with a thick rocky head of foam plus a lime and coriander aroma. Medium bodied with a matching corn grain, lime and coriander flavor. Really matched my tacos perfectly.

The lemongrass and coriander dominate together with the very savoury notes of the rice. Not my favourite type of beer but it's certainly interesting!

Now 5.1%.Pours gold witha large lasting head.Nose shows big herbal notes, lots of lemongrass and basil, a hint of liquorice and some faint peach.Flavours include more lemongrass and thai basil with it's liquorice notes. Some ginger too. Everything else about the beer is hidden away behind the herbs/spices. It very clean and crisp, as you'd expect from a rice ale.Body feels very watery.

From a 375ml can on 6/10/2020. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden with a huge nitro head. Has a a really strong lemony nose. On the sip, it's quite sweet, very lemony and quite creamy, with a lightly tart lingering bitterness. Has a typical nitro creamy texture and barely there carbonation. I'm still utterly unconvinced about the merits of nitro in general, but this beer overcomes it and is excellent. I was wondering how lemon meringue might fit in to a beer but it works really well. Interesting and very well done.
