Bottle. A clear pinkish cherry red drink. The aroma has lots of strawberry and tropical fruits, with a touch of vanilla and honey. It's full bodied, lightly sweet and with a nice warming touch. A light carbonation too. Berries, tropical fruits, some chili and a pleasant sweetness in the flavor. Lasting finish with a pleasant chili touch and burn. 191230

Bottle. Clear, deep golden to light amber body without any head. Aroma has mild honey, Christmas spices, dominated by ginger and a little touch of citric fruit. Flavor has a superb balance between sweetness, spices and just a hint of acidic seen from the mead perspective. I do love a nice balanced mead but ironic I have problems with too much honey flavor, but this is just enough. It’s distinct honey, but not sticky, the sweetness is balancing elegant against the fruity acidity and the spices is also just enough to give the right Christmas flavor without without exaggerating anything. Ginger is the most distinct of the spices and frankly its I have difficulties to identify any other of the spices better than just feeling a subtle Christmas cake flavor. Served a bit cool its almost a bit refreshing with the citric fruit and ginger. The alcohol is dangerously well hidden. Nice one.
