Aroma is sweet notes of honey and dark forest berries, vanilla and chocolate, as well as musty fruits and tannins. Full body, with no carbonation. Flavour is sweet with honey, strawberries, blueberries and forest berries, as well as vanilla, plums, musty fruit peel and some hot notes of chili.

8-5-8-4-16 Sample @ Mjøderiet and On tap @ Bergen Ølfestival. Pours a nice, clear reddish maroon, with no head. Aroma is sweet honey with a shitload of fruity raspberry notes, cherries and red berries, as well as marzipan, leather and notes of chocolate and wooden barrels. Creamy body, with no carbonation. Flavour is sweet notes of honey, red berries, cherries and raspberries, as well as marzipan, and notes of chocolate and wooden barrels.

Aroma is hoppy notes of tangerines, citrus peel, stone fruits and musty fruit peel, as well as perfumey honey, grass and heather. Light body, with medium carbonation. Flavour is floral hoppy notes with stone fruits, fruit pits and minerals, as well as grass, floral notes of honey and heather.

Bottle. Clear pale golden body without any head. Aroma has mild honey, flowers, pineapple and slightly perfumed (the ginger). Flavor is sweet honey, slightly acidic, refreshing fruity with some pineapple and ginger. Sweet but kind of balancing with acidity, fruit and some bitter ginger. OK, but not the best from Mjøderiet.

Både Vått & Tørt i Bakgården 2019. Golden color . Aroma is honey, apple. Flavor is honey, berries, apple, spices, flower, fruit. Nice mead.
