Bottle, 25cl. Fruityness, alcohol, honey, spiced notes and some oak and booze. Raspberry, blackberry, bourbon, sweetness. Full-bodied, not too sweet, and quite complex. Still, I think it's a bit too gentle on the berry profile, or too heavy on the berries if the honey should shine more than berries. Really nice anyway, and the alcohol is quite well hidden, would never have guessed 15% ABV. 747415 251207

Bottle, 25cl. Crystal clear candy red, still. Distinct strawberry aroma, feels kind of artificial. Probably due to the honey and perhaps the flower addition. Gentle boozy hints, some wood notes. Honey all the way, but playing second fiddle. Think I like it, not sure though. But I'd love to find out how this pairs with cherry ice cream, or perhaps with vanilla ice cream and cherry sauce. 646414 251205

Not the in your face fruity stuff
Although it is a lot of dark berries here

Farge: Klar, dyp gyllen med rødlig skjær
Aroma: Lett floral honningaroma med et syrlig bærpreg liggende over. Noe som minner om maderiafat liggende under.
Smaker: Meget elegante toner av bær, kanskje spesielt bjørnebær og røde bær over en lett søtlig mjødbase, som ikke skriker honning. Det florale preget er mer dempet, men man kjenner at den er tosifret i alkoholprosenten når den får lunes litt.Ingen smaksbombe, men en meget elegant og spennende tradisjonell mjød.
