Description
Renaissance brewing was established in 2005 when experienced brewers Andy Deuchars and Brian Thiel purchased the lease on the historic Grove Mill in Blenheim. Andy and Brian, both natives of Southern California, had one goal in mind - to produce stunning beers in a region more renowned for the excellence of its wines. We are committed to using local ingredients and are one of the pioneers of craft brewing in New Zealand.

Bottle from Yamaya. Lemony nose, nicely hopped in a very new world way. Deep golden, clear, low head. Decent hop flavor, some biscuity malt sweetness. Body is rather full and a bit oily. Decent, though comes across more like a golden ale than a true pilsner.

A tasty brew with strong chocolate notes.

Deep golden color. Frothy white head. A bit of dyactle and tropics fruit. The mouth is fairly light, but again with dyactle and grapefruit and mangoes. Moderate bitter finish. Itβs ok but a touch cloying
