Black pour with a solid frothy beige head. Nice lacing. Coffee, herbal and quite mild hoppy aroma. Medium to full body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation. Coffee, roasted, mild fruity, mild pine and mild grapefruit hoppy flavor. Nice ale. But not to much BIPA stuff.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear dark mahogany brown pour with a frothy light tan head, dark fruit, autumn leaves and booze aroma, taste has toffee, some spice, caramel malts, a hint of chocolate, toffee apple, you can taste the booze, some woodiness, not normally into this style but this was very pleasant.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; pitch black pour with a big creamy light tan head, aroma has chocolate and a hint off coffee, only the slightest of piney hop action but some delightful creamy chocolate, some coffee, bitter finish.

Bottle at CASC. It pours clear deep amber with a small off-white head. The nose is juicy, mango, orange, tangerine, sherbet, candied peel and caramel. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, juicy, toasty, mango, grapefruit, orange rind, grass, light caramel and candied peel with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fresh and juicy. Tasty.

500ml bottle from Beerhive. Pours clear golden amber, thin white head nice lacing. Aromas are creamy, biscuit, light saline note, citrus. Taste is more cream and biscuits, rich tea maybe. Redcurrant fruitiness develops. Nice crisp finish. Solid.

500ml bottle from Beerhive. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of resin, mango, caramel. Taste has fresh fruit, red apples, more resin, mandarin oranges. Oily texture, rich body. Biscuit sweet on the finish. Excellent.
