basement aromas, the aroma is an intense dark sweet sugary mess. Notes of raisins, sherry, candied cherries, and quite alot of candi sugar. The mouth feel is fine, and the carb is a tad low. Thw finish is low on the bitterness scale, with a mineral sweet raisin and dark candied plum blast. Quite interesting.

If they were going for pumpkin pie, they nailed it. Some subtle pumpkin notes, envelopped in a pile of spices. Loads of cinnamon, cloves, cardamon, i’m ever getting quite a bit of ginger. The finish was a touch of roasty malts, with a huge spicy finish. The spices get to be a little much near the end, but otherwise a nice beer.

dark copper pour, thick, sticky off white head. muted, and very slight, but there is a tropical fruit, slightly citrus aroma, with a very solid malt backbone. the mouth feel is perfect, as well is the carbonation. the finish is sticky, and bitter, with a solid amount of pine hops, with some acidity, and some citrus, and more great cereal malts. the alcohol shows itself in the finish, but its not harsh, or off putting.

500ml bottle from the LCBO.
Ok, after reading the commercial description, im not expecting an american style IPA There is a spicy, floral hop aroma, with noticeable bready, biscuity malts. The finish is sweet, with caramel, and bready toffee, with an odd touch of roasted coffee. the hops fad, and empart a slight bitterness.

Rich dark malts, smoke, and wicked roast. Nice solid bitterness, with some outstanding sweet maltiness, and smoke. The finish is really soft but quite roasty, and as a nice bitter bite. This is an impressive scotch ale!

Bottle at Café Derat, Utrecht. Aroma is fruity and a bit herbal NZ hops and biscuity, slightly sugary pale malt with a touch of caramel toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Hoppy but also malty IPA, restrained fruitiness. Mild but enjoyable enough.
