12oz bottle. Pours black with foamy beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, caramel, and roasted coffee; really well done. Flavour is very malt forward and dry with notes of burnt caramel, espresso, and bitter hops. A lingering bitterness and boozy warmth. Fantastic imperial stout.

AROMA: medium-high alcoholic aroma with a character of an aged spirit (scotch). medium malty background (toffee), dried grapes and figs. APPEARANCE: light amber color and slightly hazy. low white head with medium-low retention. leg formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium malt notes (toffee-like), dried grapes, figs. medium-low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with medium-low carbonation. smooth alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: a nice beer for aging since it has a very present alcoholic character.

Bottle, 0.355l. Aroma of orange, melon, honey, flowers and yoghurt. Pours cloudy golden color with large soapy white head, good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and tropical fruity, following is grainy, yeasty and herbal, mouthfeel is crisp and rather dry, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Bright hops that make you foggy…

Bottle from Beer Republic webshop Breda Netherlands (I think?), had this Thursday 14th December 2023, we had a Thai Fish Curry this evening, listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant on New Music Fix on 6Music. Pours very dark brown edging towards black, there is a ruby glint to this, large light beige head. Bourbon is uppermost on the nose along with some dark treacle, thickness in the mouth, a little bit in yer face, however make no mistakes, it's a superb beer.
