Tap at Rogue Public House - deep black pour - after having two of their other beers, which were terrible, I was dreading this - this turned out to be fairly decent (by comparison) - fairly creamy in the mouth - medium dry, with some moderately bitter black malt - cherry is mellow and earthy (whole fruit, skin, pit) - a bit of bittersweet chocolate - decent brew.

Tap at Rogue Public House - tastes like a dry brown ale with sweet potato added - some dry nuttiness, tobacco, leafy bitterness - sweet potato is muted, but enough to add an earthy, root plant vegetable note that is a bit of putting - I have one more of their beers in my flight and I am now dreading it.

Draught. Would this have been even better as two separate beers? I don’t know. Honey and malt aroma. Flavour is rather sweet, but nowhere near cloying. Medium bodied. Does not go with spicy food.

Draught. Interesting beer. The barman and a customer swore mighty oaths it was a sour. It had some sour cherry aroma, and sour cherry flavour, but also had a full raisiness and fruitiness like a quadrupel. Well worth trying out.

Draught. Dark with off white head. Aroma is a mix of malt and rope. Big body, again more hemp. Tasted more like dagga than beer. Pleasant finish

Cloudy orange pour with medium white head. Citrusy aroma, some pine. Full bodied, hoppy with enough malt. Hop finish. AFAIK this is a return of their very first beer.

Wonderful bier from Green Dragon. Their brewmaster decided to make an alt. Black with thick white head. Aroma is sweet malt. Full bodied malty flavour with enough hop to keep in balance. Thirst quenching. Hurry before it’s gone.

Draught at brewpub. Interesting balance of styles. This was red with two toned red and off white head. Balanced malt and hop aroma. Had that malt depth, that in my admittedly limited experience of zwickels, I expect of the style. Light in alcohol, like a kolsch. Come get it it quickly, their beers come and go quickly.
