Description
Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery is dedicated to innovation and the appreciation of craft beer. Located on 9th and Yamhill in Portland's inner east side, Rogue Eastside is the latest addition to the lineup of Rogue Meeting Halls in Oregon, Washington and California. Rogue Eastside features 36 legendary and limited-release Rogue beers, as well as 19 taps reserved for independent breweries. The cocktail menu highlights the array of Rogue's handcrafted Spirits. Rogue offers family friendly dining, special beer-infused menu items, dog-friendly patio seating, weekly Green Dragon Brew Crew releases and space for private events.

Rogue Pilot Brewery crafts experimental Rogue brews unique from those you might find at the brewery headquarters in Newport, Ore. Head Brewer Danny Connors will continue operating the 15 barrel system in the back of the pub to innovate with new styles and flavors. The concoctions brewed by both Danny and the Green Dragon Brew Crew (working on a smaller 1 barrel system) will be on tap at Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery as well.

Admin Note: Rogue purchased The Green Dragon in 2008. The Green Dragon Brew Crew / Green Dragon Brewing beers have their own entry contract brewed at Rogue Eastside.

Draught. Another special beer from Green Dragon. Poured dark cloudy orange with thick white head. Much lacing. Full aroma of cloves and fruit. Full bodied flavour, sweet malt, banana and cloves. Lasting spicy finish. A wonderful tripel. Hurry before it’s gone.

Draught. Available only at Green Dragon Pub for a limited time. Poured cloudy yellow orange with a thick white head. much lacing. Aroma seemed overbalanced for a pale, much citrus and flor, rather like an IPA. Flavour more restrained like a pale, more malt in the mix/ Hoppy finish. Still more on the Cape, or IPA side than a pale.

Draught. Poured cloudy Orange with medium white head. Mild citrusy aroma with a bit of grass. Full flavour without being overwhelming. Hoppy, yet not a hop bomb, they were going for restraint. Lekker bitter finish.
