Hazy yellow, small white head. aroma is woody, sour and tart, citrussy, wild beery, resembles a leathery lambic more than a vineger wild belgian, faint phenolic note that is both well hidden and well integrated. Flavor is refreshingly citrussy tart sour, notes of wood, notes of leather. quite clean , quite simple, but well tasting. Sort of like a gueuze lambic.

Bottle. A- Cherry, mild funk, subtle balsamic vinegar. A- Reddish brown color, slightly hazy liquid, beige head. T- Cherry, tart, mild funk, subtle balsamic vinegar, oak, tannic. P- Medium body, average texture, medium carbonation, complex finish. O- Really lovely sour cherry flavor with only a tinge of funk. Acidity is fairly mild and back up with a balanced oak flavor. Not sure what poppy really adds, but like this probably better than I rated it.

Hazy pale red with a small white head. Aroma of funk and wood, with notes of cherry. Dry and quite tart fruity and funky flavour with sour cherry character. Very subtle and elegant for an American sour.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear bright gold with a decent creamy white head. Strong grass/spice aroma with bready hints. Arguably med body. Strong grass/spice hoppiness with muted pale malt support. Nicely grassy. Very good.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Lightly sour peach aroma. Med body. It's tart/sour and bitter - like from peach pits. Dry. Maybe a touch of Brett. Something unusual, herb wise. Very approachable.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is tropical, perhaps with a hint of rye spice. Med body or better. Tropical, juicy, but not really sweet. Rye for sure. Moderately, ryely bitter. Pomelo zest lurks. Perhaps green melon and citrus. It's extremely pleasing and good tasting.
