Description
Lagabière was born in November 2012. Brothers Sébastien and Francis Laganière opened the doors of their brewery in the heart of Old St. Jean, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Initially offering only one of their beers and a few beers, the inventory has grown rapidly, offering only locally brewed products. With a capacity of 20 beers in service, the offer is very diversified. Each recipe is original and brewed with extreme rigor. Today, after more than sixty original recipes created, Lagabière also offers a range of imported beers, quality alcohols and a homemade food menu, incorporating as much beer as possible.

Can: Poured a deep black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of chocolate notes with some deep red Cabernet notes is truly enjoyable. Taste is a wonderful mix of Cabernet notes with some strong vinous notes, some oak and chocolate notes with hints of roasted malt notes. Body is full with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Enjoyable mix of flavours.
