On draft at Tap 25. It pours a dark brown color with a khaki head. The aroma is mostly toasted with hints of smoke and chocolate. Not much hop character. The flavor has more grapefruit, toast and pine. Light body. Maybe a hint of pineapple with a strong piney finish and a hint of smoke. A little to intense with the roasted malt and piney bitterness for my tastes.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Light fruit aroma. Near med body. Flavor is a bit grainy/bready and some spicy/fruity hop. Quite a bit of flavor for a pilsner. Finishes a little bready and decently bitter.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is grainy sweet with some melanoiden character and spicy lemongrass-like hops. The flavor is lightly toasted malt with spicy, earthy Saaz-like hops. Dense earthy noble bitterness along with more toasty melanoidens. This seems more Czech than German in character to me. A nice one at that. Could’ve used a bit more hop aroma though. Pretty good stuff.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a light golden orange color with a frothy off white head. The aroma has a little bread, berries and candied grapefruit. Background notes of florals. The flavor has flowers, orange, and lightly toasted malt. Solid floral bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Lots of orange and flowers. Good sweetness to bitterness ratio. Pretty nice stuff.

On tap at Beer Baron. It pours a clear golden orange color with a creamy white head. The aroma is fruity with melon, mango, pineapple and a little dank. The flavor is smooth with honeyed/toasted malt and big fruity berry, mango and pineapple notes. Dry finish. Really fruity with nice toasted malt notes. Good one.
