On cask @Penticolas. Curated flight. Same clear & dark amber tea consistency as the base. Smell is an odd mix of baking spices & potpourri. Super astringent peach pit & base nutmeg/cinnamon/ginger powdered spice. Not a whole lot of actual peach flavor. I wouldn't be able to call it out. Weak one out.

Cask at the source, 5oz pour. Dark amber, mostly clear. Sharp & astringent coffee nose. Nutty, gentle toast, almost peanut-y coffee, maybe some maple. Smooth, less spice. Watery at times. Good in small doses. Makes my tummy rumble. Solid to great.

Second time having this. First time was at Jax's. Now @Peticolas. First week of February. This time in an organized flight with several alternate versions; 4/$10. 5oz pour at the source. Dark amber tea, mostly clear, lingering oatmeal head. Big nutmeg & Dr Pepper nose. Like this. Well spiced, possibly too much nutmeg or cinnamon, as it's giving off a medicinal bitterness. Very cola-like acidity, minimal to medium low roast, itchy malt. Thin, warming abv, medicinal. Kinda good, but not great.

On tap at Peticolas, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is full of peaches, sugars, and bready malt. Flavour has plenty of peaches, sugars, and booziness. There's not a whole lot of pronouncement in the character other than the peach, sugars, and booze. It's fine.

On tap at Peticolas, pours a hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out brown sugar, bready caramel, and resinous hops. Flavour is somewhat sugary, with bready malt, toasted caramel, and some sugars on the finish. Somewhat muted and jumbled but otherwise pleasant. This doesn't have the depth, clarity, or complexity one would desire in the style. It's alright.

On tap at Peticolas, pours a hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is a bit harsh, with orange zest, resinous hops, and some crunchy herbaceous notes. Flavour is big, with lots of orange zest, herbaceous notes, resinous hops, and a big caramel base. A bit jagged and strange, but it somehow, sort of comes together. It's alright.

On tap at Peticolas, pours a clear mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of harmonious Xmas spices, along with English bready malt and dry toasted caramel. Flavour is tasteful, with a big caramel malt and English bready base, accentuated by fairly light but obviously present Xmas spices. Not too harsh, and quite harmonious. Good stuff.

On tap at Peticolas, pours a clear copper orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out English bready malt and light toasted caramel. Flavour is dry, with a sort of metallic character and English bready malt. Seems a bit too metallic for me. Not bad but I don't get how this is ranked so high in style.

On tap at Peticolas, pours a clear dark red / copper with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of caramel, bready malt and dry toffee. Flavour is malty, with lots of toasted caramel, dry toffee, and bready malt. Very nice malt character, without too much sweetness. Clean and well-made. Good stuff.

On tap at the brewery. Black with tan head. Good roasty porter, chocolate, cocoa, tad bitter. Easy going.
