From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is dense hoppy with a distinct feel of sticking your nose into a sack of hops. Bittering hops mainly make out the flavour of this brew. Solid dry and bitter into the far finish. Too dry hoppy for my liking.5-3-6-3-11=2.8
From tap at Lord Nelson. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Mild peach fruity and grapefruity hops aroma. Medium dry yet fruity base flavour with a mild acidic to citric dry touch into the finish. Dry and fruity finish. Nice and easy.6-3-7-3-13=3.2

Bottle at EBF08, 2006 version, two years old. Vinous aroma, hint of port. Beautiful clear deep red colour. Quite sweet flavour, OK vinous. Some soft fruit. Ends with a very dry bitterness. The bitterness is rough and stays on the tongue for a long time. Needs more time.
