Black, lasting light tan head. Mild licorice aroma, light roasted malt.Bittersweet flavour, some licorice, syrupy sweetness and a little roasted malt in the finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber (nothing Heller here!) with a lacing, off-white head. Sweet caramel nose paired with some sulphur. Rich, sweet, malty caramel and toffee body with floral hops. Slightly bitter finish. Actually very decent. Seems like a slightly lighter version of my old favorite Faxe Festbock. 160322

From a shared 50 cl bottle. Dark mahogany colour with a dense tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, nuts, chocolate, sugars. Toasted notes. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Slightly drying fruity finish. Rich and sweet.

Bottle. Thanks to Kasper Larsen aka BeerBandits. Pours nearly Black with a beige head. Roasted malts, Brown sugar, molasses, caramel and paperbag beneath. Medium bodied.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a dense, creamy and lacing light brown head. Subtle licorice aroma. Medium body, licorice and molasses more than actual roastiness - that hard, intense English licorice. Rather unclean and rough with a boozy finish. Very simple brew. I'm old enough to have had the original of this from Thor Bryggerierne /Jyske Bryggerier. 010322

Ein Mitbringsel aus Odense eines guten Freundes. Es ist ein recht klassisches IPA, das zwar nette herbe Aromen hat, aber man merkt, dass es schon sehr auf Massengeschmack getrimmt ist. Ein einfaches IPA, das man gut trinken kann, aber nicht die große Kreativität.
