330ml bottle stored in my cellar for quite a while. The oily pour reveals an espresso, bubbly head reduced to a remaining layer. Spotty lacing. Jet black body content. Attractive aroma of of dark malts, ginger and pine needles. Blended taste profile of red orange shells, coffee, molasses, liquorice and ginger. Lingering malty bitter end with some impact of pine needles. Warming down the throat. Full bodied and velvety mouthfeel. Joy on a Christmas eve (Tromsø, 24.12.2015).

Bottle at home. Two year old bottle. Has a deep reddish brown color with a beige head that fades fast. Aroma of dried fruit, cloves, leather, cocoa, liqueur, syrup, oak and some alcohol. Flavor of oak, brown sugar, leather, cognac and anise. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and medium bitterness. Interesting aroma but the flavor is quite unbalanced and strangely bitter and boozy. Would be better to hearty food.

Flaska från SB. Lokala sortimentet dec-13. Mahogny, lågt skum. En ganska trevlig doft med lite torkad frukt och bränt socker lyft av en del alkohol. Smaken är inte lika rolig, Aningen fruktighet men mest fadd och söt. Sågspån i sockerlag spetsad med billig konjak. Nja, inte så roligt.

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy biter flavor. Strong citrus njotes. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Keg at BrewDog Shoreditch during the London Bimble. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy white head. Lots of rich berries in here, light leafy bitterness, bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Tasty, but with minimal Belgian yeast character. Still, good and drinkable.

375 ml bottle. 2012 vintage. Pours a thick black with no head. Aromas of dark molasses, licorice, and sweetened black coffee with quite a bit of alcohol. Flavors of sweet dark chocolate. Smooth and silky. Quite warm
