Draught, shared with Skinnyviking at Ølfestival 2012. A reddish shade to the dark brown body. Stable off-white head. Smell of berries and malts. Dark malts with bittersweet cherries. Solid tart-sweet ending. Well balanced, and more punch in this one compared with their original Belgian Dark (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).

100ml, draught at Ølfestival 2012. Transparent dark-brown body. Tiny white head. Smell of earthy malts and herbal hops. The taste character is made up by dried and ripe fruits on a sweet malty backbone. Lingering bittersweet tail. Pleasing but not that great (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).

100ml (and not only 50ml), tap, at Ølfestival 2012. Black as pitch, low brownish body. Roasted malty sweetness to the nose. Dark honeyed malts in flavour entwined with dark berries. The long-lived ending is on the alcoholic sweet side of bittersweet. Heavy stuff, more suitable as a late night sipper at home than on a beer festival (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).
