Bottle at the Watford tasting 26/07/14. Murky caramel brown with cream / grey thin head. Aroma is nutty wood, rusty nail and some jammy fruit. Slight musty on the nose. Flavour is is nutty, caramel, brown malts. Very malt driven, slight sweet honey. Some slight lingering metal in the finish. Nice clean ferment. Palate is semi sweet, full body and moderately high carbonation. Good malty interesting beer.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, roasted malt, and prunes. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, peated smoke, roasted malt, bread, prunes, over ripe fruits, and cognac, leading to a dry finish.

[ As Stronzo Voulez Vous Muscatel barrels with Clementine ].Unclear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy - yeasty, orange - citrus, riped fruit, tart fruit, wood. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, tart orange, wood, sweet fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140502]
