Bottled, from Systembolaget. Opaque black with small brown head. Peppery licorice and bourbon aroma. Sweet and viscous with full body and oily mouthfeel. Heavy bread, syrup, licorice and caramel, pepper, vanilla and bourbon. Warming finish with growing bitterness and saccharine.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Clear orangey bronze amber colour, foam white head and aroma of citrus, grapefruit, woody pine hop. Taste is sweetish malt caramel, bready, with lingering grapefruit pine grassy hoppy bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle. An unclear, reddish dark amber colored beer with a dense, light beige head. The aroma is pretty vinous and boozy, with chocolate, candy, coffee and roasted malts. Vinous flavor too, slightly sourish in a way, with roasted malts, caramel, wood and vanilla. Some dark chocolate. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. Bottle. A murky pale orange-golden beer topped by a finger-thick white head. The aroma has some burnt rubber, with wheat, a touch of pale malts and fruits, and with a yeasty and spiced touch. Oranges, pale malts, spices, alcohol, rubber notes and a faint funky touch in the flavor. Medium body, nice carbonation. Some bitterness in the finish. Not very pleasant this one. 140717

Bottle at Brewers Beer Bar, Gothenburg. Hazy golden orange, white two finger minimal lacing head. Aroma is fairly hoppy with pine and mango, a distinct malt background but also a hint of wet carboard. Taste is fruity and hoppy, slight bready maltiness, a bit of peach, pine and zest. Ends quite bitter. Medium body, medium carbo. Works but a bit unbalanced and a bit thin for a dipa. Still refreshing.
