dark brown, smooth light brown head. aroma of malts and dark fruits, also some caramel. flavor is slightly roasted malts, bitter malts, caramel, faint bitter chocolate, kind of spicy, but also reminds me of not-so-well-done danish microbrews many years ago. sort of country’ish feel to it. sort of like a christmas beer with spices. still, quite tasty, and with a lot of flavor.

330mL bottle at Brewdog Leeds, pours an opaque darkish orange with a small white head. Nose is fairly woody and oxidized, with resin hops and wet wood. Flavour is fairly restrained on the hop potency, with lots of stale wood, subdued resinous hops, and a dry toasted crusty bread finish. This tastes like it's old, even though the bottle gives a best before date of July 2015. Not the most robustly hoppy or interesting IIPA, but drinkable nonetheless.
