Bottle. Almost black body, with a small, dense, dark beige head. The aroma has peat dominating, with a faint boozy touch and roasted malts. Coffee, bonfire and some chocolate. The flavor is equally peated, with a little sweetness. Roasted malts, coffee and some bitterness. Full body, warming and softly carbonated. Peated, roasted finish. Way too peated and alcoholic this one. 140608

Bottle. More or less black body, topped by a dense, creamy beige head of moderate size. Lots of vanilla in the aroma, roasted malts, coffee and a little sourish hint. Some sweetness in the flavor, but it’s quite dry, with lots of carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee, vanilla and some sourish maltyness in the flavor. Full-bodied and lightly oily on the palate. Lasting finish with roasted malts, chocolate and vanilla. Quite decent, but sort of messy. 140608

Bottle. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a big, diminishing light beige head. Some lacings. The aroma is peachy and lightly funky, with some lemon and a peppery hint. Rather weak flavor with perfume, citrus peel, some peaches and after a while, lots of chalk. Medium body, mostly dry, with too much carbonation. Long, fruity finish. Pretty bad this one, except for the aroma. 140608

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, citrus, hint of cheese and something that reminds of brett. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

(Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of apricot marmalade, treacle toffee, orange peel, grapefruit, dried fruit and fresh floral hops. Fruit, hoppy taste with treacle toffee, dried apricots, Seville orange, grapefruit and a fairly dry finish with a generous floral/citric bitterness. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Fresh and well made IPA. Nice one.

Big dark, grayish brown head. Nearly opaque black body with faint red light at edges. Roasty mineraly aroma with herbal bready notes. Dryish chocolatey mineraly taste with resiny earthy notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry earthy chocolatey pine needle aftertaste with mineraly coffee notes. Nice, drinkable, harmonic, and more than a little reminiscent of Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)
