Taphouse, Copenhagen. Hazy amber beer, small white head. Palate is light and a little soft. Mild fine carbonation. Very mild gueuzey sourness and a touch of vinegar. Balanced by sweetish orange and soft sweet malt. Gueuzey tang on the finish.

Draught at KØ14. Vinous, sweetish aroma. Almost black colour, clear red shine. No head. The flavour is sweet with brown sugar and a spicy candii note. OK try, but I would have liked more alcohol and sweetness for this style.

Sample from a nice salesman's 0.33l bottle @ Henrik. This one ha a cloudy orange look with a medium sized just off-white top. A lovely hoppy nose with grass, peaches and a load of citrus. It has a nice oily feeling in the mouth and it's just about average on the bubbles. Grassy flavors as well, and there is something different about the malt combo. Has to be the spelt. Drymouthing finish. A nice surprise, and I even got to know where the Stronzo name came from. 13.02.2014

On tap @ Henrik. Looks really inviting with a nice big near fluffy, no it can only be described as a super-fluffy white head on top of a cloudy honey orange looking body. Lots of fresh flowers and mild citrus on the nose. Smells quite delicate. Green papaya with honey melon, flowers and soft wet grass. I likealot. It's quite high on the carbonation this, almost a tad fizzy and aggressive in the mouth and it has a light oily mouthfeel. Yeah, this I how I want my hoppy pale ales. Really sharp and stingy on the hops. It tastes just as fresh as the aroma lead to believe. Lots of grassy bitter hops here, well accompanied by green pine cones, grapefruit bitterness without the grapefruit flavor and tones of apricots. Really flavorful and just what I needed! 14.03.2014
