Bottle from SuperBest Ama’r Foodmarket, Copenhagen - fuzzy brown pour with medium beige head. Toasty malty, slight roasted, caramel, toffee, slight nutty, some hop nuance in there as well, with a bitter finish. Ok.

On tap at Kick. It pours an unclear orange-brown body undera dense finner thick off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma is lightly malty, caramel, with a little phenolic touch, smoke-ish. Pretty spiced too. It’s quite bitter in the mouth, creamy and full-bodied. Malty caramel sweetness, smoke and spices too. Quite bitter finish too. A pretty unusual one, but nice as well. 140315

On tap @ Kick. A murky reddish body with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity with citric and something less defined fruit/berry’ish. Flavor is sweet malty, some citric fruit, bitter, and some kind of berries and a hint of earthy flavor that brings my memories back to my grandparent’s potato cellar. Medium body with a strange earthy bitterness. Sure a weird one, but without doubt the best beetroot ale I ever had (and also the first one so far). Not particular good actually, but extra score for actualy making this drinkable.

Brewdog Shoreditch. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small off white head. Palate is minerally crisp. Smoothbthin malt with a touch of dry cream. Orangey hops that ramp up in bitterness. There is a little fresh orange and some pith but it’s mostly peel. Light crisp dry finish. Not bad but I thought Stronzo would do something more interesting.

Brewdog Shoreditch. Keg. Hazy amber beer, with a good off white head. Palate is fresh and smooth with fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malt, touch of cream. Hops are piney and bitter. There is twiggyness here that gives an ESB vibe. Some nice marmalade offsets that. A decent IPA - could be a bit purer.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, lemons, yeast, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, fruits, wheat, and citrusy hops, leading to a dry and slightly tart finish. The aroma promises more than the flavor can deliver.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 10%. Black volour, moderate tan head. Sweetish aroma with strong notes of raisins, ginger and cinnamon, hints of chocolate and cloves. Medium sweet and very spicy flavour, notes of ginger, cloves and black pepper, hints of cinnamon. Distinct and sharp bittering hops (too much). Moderate sweetish malts with mild coffee and chocolate notes. Could have been so much better - again a Christmas beer from Stronzo that I won’t buy again. Why do these guys hate Christmas?

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Citrusy and peachy. Smooth fruity, citrusy and estery. Bitter, herbal and citrusy. Dry and bitter finish.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Orange fruity and mild peachy. Smooth fruity and crisp hoppy flavoured. Bitter, smooth peachy hoppy. Vibrant hops fruity finish.
