Dark brown color, cloudy, with poor head. The aroma is a bit vinous and nutty. Dry mouthfeel; sour malt flavor, dusty, astringent, vinous, stale, a bit fruity. The bitterness takes some vegetable character.

Cloudy light amber color with creamy persistent head. The aroma is light, a bit yeasty, cheesy. Smooth mouthfeel; chewy malts, too much yeast, an impression of Parmigiano Reggiano; strong bitterness, but without clean resiny or fruity quality.

Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Black, light tan head. Coffee and licorice aroma. Coffee flavour, some jammy notes, rather bitter. A little light but still rather nice.

Flaska från SB. Tack Daniel! Lokal julöl 2013. Närmast kolsvart, tjock vätska. Doft av mäktig kladdig chokladkaka med kryddor i bakgrunden, ingefära, muskot och kardemumma. Smaken är först söt med fudge och choklad, därefter kryddig och i eftersmaken torr med trä, aska och träkol. Lite dammig och kanske inte klockrent med kryddorna men iaf ok.

Well matured bottle. Black body with no head. Strong aroma of dark malt, molasses, wood and boozy alcohol. Flavor is sweet dark malt, wood, molasses and boozy alcohol. Full bodied and long, quite boozy aftertaste. A solid sipper, but end up too boozy for my taste.

Flaska från SB, årgång 2013. Smak och doft av humle ,malt, torkad frukt, karamell, russin, plommon med toner av trä och konjak. Rund och len, fin sötma och fruktighet, bra balans, fin beska. Blev helt enkelt bättre med tiden.
