can. sweet malty, bit rye like notes, also a very aromatic full bodied pine and grapefrut like hoppy note, that is, however, not super stingt bitter but more in the direction of barleywine. The total aroma experience is very pleasing, to me, sort of like a double rye ipa. (no rye in this one, but that is how i percieve the aroma). Flavor is sweet malty, hoppy balance, but it is not very bitter, more flowery, nutty almost. the can says double IPA, ratebeer says IPA. tastes more like a red ale imho. some caramel and toffee notes too.

Can 44 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a small, white head. Biscuity nose, slightly spicy hops. Medium body, fruity and malty with a biscuity edge. Subdued bitterness. Pretty harmless, but has nothing to do with a NEIPA. 240924

44 cl can, stated at 8.5% (same name, same beautiful art.) A very dark brown to black pour with a finely lacing, not much retention, dense tan head. Aroma is intense coffee: espresso, coffee beans, mocha. No leather, no cocoa, no chocolate, no licorice: just coffee variations. Silky, stout, not as full-bodied as you could anticipate. Dry and rather bitter finish that lasts long and brings back (you guessed it): more coffee. Those dypsomaniacs who go for what they call a morning Guinness have here an ale to love and cherish.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque deep amber with a smallish, beige head. Toffee and biscuit in the nose - but little hops. Rich, sweet toffee body with little bitterness. If this was ever an IPA, it's almost prehistoric in style. But as a strong, toffeeish malty beer it's quite pleasant. 120924
