clear amber to light brown, light brown bubbly but lasting head.
really nice malty bisquity and crisp hoppy aroma, very malty and intense for a braunstein, hops are intense enough to be noticed but does not disrupt the very nice malty dominance. pretty good high-intensity balance.
flavor is malty, nutty, bitter malty, bitter hoppy, quite european in its flavor, reminds me of more traditional beer i've tasted in london pubs, with a twist of course, but flavor wise.. also reminds me of the best of spanish macro's when they try to do something a bit more intense. it's almost like there are notes from booze soaked wood chips. Also tastes like the better half of danish brown ale.

Can 44 cl. Pours nutty brown with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Fatty, oxidized caramel notes with dark dry fruity notes and mellow oak. Rich, fatty, boozy body with more of the above. I believe this has some age, but it has indeed aged with grace. 130126

Thanks fonefan! Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some nectary and wooden tones with a bit of resin too. Flavour is herbal, grassy and some mild floral and fruity tones. A bit 2007ish IPA vibes to this. But still somewhat solid IPA-feel.
