Can, 5.8%. Faint caramelly aroma. Hazy dark golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is fruity with a mild caramel note like in the aroma. Good mouthfeel but not terribly flavourful considering the ABV. 636314 / 6 6 6 6 7

Can 44 cl. Pours a mostly clear, deep amber with a lacing, off-white head. The nose has toffee and caramel but very little hop accents. Rich, malty, caramelly body, some vitamin accents and a decently bitter finish. But totally lacking on the aroma side. 130425

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a rough, beige head. Malty, grainy nose. Medium body, sweet grainy malts with a carbonation to the low side. Hardly any bitterness. For a Heller Bock it's a sloppy brew devoid of any crispiness. 260325

Dark roasted malty with lots of cocoa and caramel, some liquorice, burnt ashy roast, charred brown sugar, dark malty bitter finish. Nice one.

Toasted and sweet although with notes of caramel and dark toffee, some brown sugar, dried fruit, yeasty linger, spice, medium body, warming spiced malty close.
Hardly any aroma at all and taste follows, vague vegetal and obscure sweet fruity faintness, from lower league to non league.

Sweet fruity and malty, vague citrus undertones, notes of wheat, sweet doughy bready malts, medium body, bit of a jarring metallic taste into the finish.

Can. Pours cloudy dark brown with airy but stable light tan head. Clear aroma of roast, malt, and dried fruit, with touches of liquorice and yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour of coffee, with notes of liquorice, malt and yeast, and touches of fruit and malt. Roasty aftertaste with estery notes. Reasonable but nothing truly extraordinary.
