Can, 7.2%. Caramelly and grapefruity aroma. Cloudy copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is caramelly and chalky with a little spicy hop. Does not taste much of alcohol, and is fairly light-bodied for the ABV. Faint hint of alcohol bitterness in the finish, otherwise quite clean.

aroma is roasted malts and coffee and an undefined sourness or tartness that i can't really place. it's similar to infected stout. it blends well with the coffee aroma. Flavor is roasted malts, cofffee, brown sugar, licorice, hard roasted malts, charred wood. Fine flavor, heavily roasted but still delicious, not bitter caramel or bitter nuts, but a flavor carried by roasted malts and a lot of coffee. Strange how the faint sourness in the aroma is totally gone in the flavor. The flavor reminds me of irish coffee.

Can mild but flavorful aroma, malts and faint flowers, slighly dark malts like a vienna, Nice aroma. Not much hoppy bitterness in the aroma though. Still fine. flavor is slightly flowery and fruity, quite malty, Flavorful and balanced for a 4.8%er, i keep getting associations to tuborg classic (although a totally different beast) only this one is better. pretty well balanced, more tasty than most english stuff.

Dark golden, clear with small offwhite head. Mild malty, slighty spicy hop aroma, mild caramel as well. Malty flavour, very mild fruity and spicy hoppy bitterness. Malty sweetness and ok dry finish. Nicely drinkable and ok tasty.

can bit faint aroma but what there is, is good stuff, roasted malts, charred wood, faint chocolate, no bitter caramel or other bad stuff. only the aroma is a bit faint/weak. but it's good. flavor is dry, roasted malty, faint charred woody and hard roasted malty, bit of brown sugar, good bitter aftertaste both malts and hops, A very pleasing and good tasting black beer, not sweet, roasted and hard roasted malty. in fact tastes more like imperial porter than imperial stout. nice one.

Clear amber, offwhite frothy head. Caramely, malty aroma with mild fruity notes, a little hoppy pine. Malty, caramely flavour, again some light fruity notes. Would not have guessed this to be an IPA, certainly not a DIPA like the label says. Ok tasty and drinkable nontheless.

can. pretty nice fruity dried dark fruity aroma, raisins, red grapes. The aroma leads me to think of belgian quad, but the belgian yeasty notes are not present or only very very faintly present. caramel. This barley wine is most certanly european more than american in the aroma. Flavor is caramelly, dried red fruity, boozy, boozy bitterness as well as malty bitterness, a malty bitter booze bomb. some bitterness reminding me of nut shells and nonripe fruit peel. A good sipper, not exactly super enjoyable to drink, but could work very well with selected snacks.
