(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 19 May 2007) Dark ruby colour, hazy, with brief head. Fruity, hoppy nose with the usual Cascade character of grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity taste with grapefruit, dried fruit, pine needles and balanced sweetness in a very hoppy finish. More complex than expected. Great hop character, very tasty beer.

Amber with a lasting cream head. Loads of grapefruit in the aroma. Bitter and even a little sharp flavour, with a good full body to balance.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, amber coloured, rocky yellowish, slowly diminishing head; stronger resinous, citrusy hoppy nose;robust bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 5.5 %ABV, soft MF, citrusy hops, again, in the bitter-sweet and lingering finish. A superb, hoppy brew.........

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, grassy, and grapefruity. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of elderberryflowers and spices, but also a grassy hoppy note, and hints of butter, leading to a dry and very bitter end. Too perfumy for me, but a good thirstquencher, and maybe it’ll go well with a BBQ.
