Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 2 07/08/2016. Many thanks! A clear brown copper coloured pour with a a lasting thin light tan head. Aroma is rustic farmyard, nutty toffee, toasted brown bread. Flavour is composed of sweet nutty brown bready, hints of dried fruit. Cakey malts, dried apple. Palate is semi sweet. Moderate carbonation, mineral. Ok.

Aroma is nutty semi sweet brown breads, mineral, dried fruits, twiggy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet. Mineral, twiggy malts, a little too sweet, thin. Palate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation. A little too sweet. Stale brown bread.

Bottle, 7.0%. Distinctly caramelly aroma. Almost clear amber colour. Small frothy unstable white head. The flavour is very caramelly with a rather uncompromising bitterness. Some dark candy sugar. Low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish amber with small, airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of fruit and sugar. Sweet flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with sugary and fruity notes and bitter touches of hops and almonds. Bittersweet aftertaste. Low carbonation. Tastes like unfinished BSA. Not bad, though.
