Sample from 50 cl bottle. Hazy, amber, golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with spicy impressions, yeasts, fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Finishes sweet with fruits.

Bottle@Jespers - Orange pour with white head. Sweet malty and fruity, with some caramel sweetness, dried fruit, sultana, sweet malty into the close.

50 cl bottle. Hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and herbal malty. Breadish malty. Toasted malty, caramelish. Bitter and toasted finish. Slight herbal, vague phenolic and spiced.

Bottle. Pours clear dark reddish copper brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of fruit and yeast. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with notes of hops and touches of herbs and spice. Estery and malty afteraste with notes of fruit. Okay.

Bottle, 7.2%. Roasted and dusty aroma, smells like old spices, pepper or something. Clear dark brown colour. Small frothy tan head. The flavour has some cinnamon and aniseed. Also a little black pepper, I think. Caramelly finish. OK spicy but well-balanced.

Bottle split at Chriso’s pre-GBBF Shinding 2016, Day 2, 07/08/16. Hazed orange golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangy fruit rinds, straw, bitter fruits, spice, light woody tones. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, toasted grains, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle split at Chriso’s pre-GBBF Shinding 2016, Day 2, 07/08/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel, bitter orange, brown bread, light spice, wooded notes. Taste comprises toffee, fruit rinds, light malt base, brown bread, biscuit crumble. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop presence. Run of the mill amber lacking depth for the relatively hefty 7% ABV.
