Bottle pour, picked up at Stogies and Hops. Cool to find a couple bottles from these guys, amd try what will likely be the final beers I have from them. Enjoyed my visits to the brewery, amd sad to see you go. Dense black pour. Big toasty nose with some coffee notes, amd soft brown sugar like sweetness. Smooth drinking imperial, though it does have a more bitter coffee note. Touches of vanilla / oats round out the body. Bold malt flavors linger. Solid imperial stout all around.

A deep dark stout with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, light peated notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice.

This 16.9 oz bottle was discovered at a close out $3.99 at Craft Beer Store in Las Vegas last week. The label promised a rye spin on barleywine and oak chips involved too. Easily a no-brainer to buy. The New Belgium snifter is out of the cabinet to receive this brew. I see a body of murky, caramel brown. A small light tan head accompanies but there is fortunately a strong carbonation. The smell is dried fruit with dark bread. With significant anticipation I tilt for a drink. Not bad, not exactly good. I think it is on the slide down, needed to be consumed promptly and I did. Plummy with biscuit, caramel, sorghum, some wood. Wish it was fresher but will I drink the whole bottle? Oh hell yes.

Bottle from Beergium. Black pour with a tan head. Liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee, chocolate raisin, cocoa nose. Taste is liquorice toffee, bourbon, dark roast coffee, raisin, molasses, bonfire toffee. Long alcohol burn. Soothing sweet dry boozy finish. Very tasty.

7/3/2020. Bottle at my Birthday bottle share, bought at Grumpy Goat, Reading. Pours almost black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of coffee, bitter dark chocolate, toffee and dark and dried fruits. Moderate sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, average to soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Draft pour enjoyed at Cismontane, Santa Ana. Clean and bright golden pour. Thin head. Very sour orange fruit up front. Grainy background, and lingers beyond the tart. Sharp, but flavorful and enjoyable. Good sour.

On cask, enjoyed at my first visit to Cismontane, Santa Ana. Muddy cocoa brown pour. Bitter chocolate, a bit dry, some fruitiness, not super defined as banana for me, but I trust them. Smooth milk chocolate taste. Creamy. Not too sweet. Very nice.

Thuis uit een flesje. Mooi zwart, bruin schuim.

500ml bottle, sourced from The Bottleshop, Bermo. Pours lightly hazed ruby brown with an off white head. Aroma: sour red fruits, balsamic vinegar, wood. Taste: light tart red fruits, sour cherries, red berries, balsamic vinegar hints. Thin to medium body, loose carb, tart & incredibly dry finish. It's a bit watery for a Flanders Red but the lowly ABV accounts for that I suppose. Not the deptch of flavour I'd expect for the style
