Bottle at cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - deep brown like dark honey. Nice fluffy head. Nose - sour red fruits. Light apple vinegar. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry lean middle section that goes into a tangy finish. Overall - it’s not Rodenbach but I love this style.

Bottle at The Craft Islington bottle share, cheers! It pours clear rich red - brown with a medium white head. The aroma is tart, vinous, very woody, vanilla, oak, vinegar, tangy and soft bourbon notes. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, damp wood, earth. musty, farmyard, fair amount of acidity, red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar, Medium body and fine carbonation. A little bit weird with a decent amount of vinegar going on. Lacks a bit of depth. Fair.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 14 Sep 2016) Pale amber colour with creamy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, toffee and black-currant. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel, black-currant, and a generous citric, slightly metallic, bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
