Im Glas liegt trübes bronze mit gelborangen Reflexen. Die cremefarbene, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich dabei fast cremig, stabil und überaus langlebig. Die Nase füllt sich sofort mit vollreifem Bananenaroma. Hintergründig vernimmt man eine leicht malzige bis dezent holzige Würze. Der Antrunk wirkt aufschäumend und zeigt sich aromatisch von einer süßlichen, fruchtig-herben Seite. Am Gaumen ein ganz ähnliches Bild. Leicht süßliche bis röstige Malznoten, dazu der weiche hefige Ton von überreifer Banane und würzige bis herbe Noten. Als überaus angenehm darf die weiche Haptik hervorgehoben werden und auch eine gewisse Süffigkeit ist gegeben. Im Nachtrunk bleiben in erster Linie die fruchtige Hefenote, sowie eine leicht trockene Hopfenherbe über. Fazit: Ein durchaus guter, aber sicher nicht ausgezeichneter Weizenbock.

Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours a hazy light orange colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, a touch of citrus orange and a little spice. Taste has more light citrusy notes, bananas, cloves, peppery spice and also a touch of sweetness. Thin to medium body, lively fizzy palate and slightly oily mouthfeel. Above average Hefe. Very decent.

Taste has more grains and bread, malty but with a light grassy hop on the finish. Also a slight metallic note. Medium body, fairly low carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Average Helles

500ml bottle from HoTM. It pours clear pale yellow with a dissipating white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, grassy, damp herbs,cereal, grain, doughy bread vibes, brioche and biscuit. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, fairly sweet, doughy white bread, brioche, rich tea biscuit, soda water with a slice of lemon, grass and light herbal accents with a short, dry finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Simple, straight forward and drinkable stuff.

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Flat murky golden, small white one finger head. Dry orange fruity smell. Taset has a lot of wheat and yeast, orange fruity background, some sourness. Getting thinner in the second part. But also sweet. Bavarian standard category.

Dunkler, eher trocken malziger Beginn. Pappige Andeutungen, dann Nuancen von Schokolade, mild, herb. Süffig, malzig bleibend, mittellanger Abgang. 8/8/10/8/9/8
