Eli Cannon's draught, 4/30/25.
Hazy muted brass-maize. Small, white head.
Spicy lemongrass, woodiness, bit of earth and lots of white bread-like malt. Quite fruity on the yeast, with some melon lingering.
Weird earthiness up front with light mint transitioning to dry cracker and a mix of fruit and earth. Hard to get at the flavor because the body is so fucking thin. It's round and soft, not watery, but there's almost no flavor. Just a lot of texture, woody hop, light lemongrass and that odd, lingering earthy character. Ok! Weird stuff!

Half pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark brown with cap of beige head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt. Taste is strong roasted malt--borderline coffee--as aroma. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not much complexity here and not getting the chocolate but good strength. Well made.
